Saint Emilion, the cradle of great wines

Saint-Emilion owes its exceptional character to its great diversity of terroirs. The variety of its wines is explained by a remarkable geological diversity and a microclimate perfectly adapted to viticulture. This combination offers ideal conditions for the nutrition and maturity of the dominant Merlot grape variety. Indeed, the variety of Saint-Emilion wines can also be explained by a skilful blend of grape varieties (mainly Merlot associated with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, or Malbec) which allows them to blossom in a range of olfactory and gustatory nuances particularly appreciated.
